Tenancy & Neighbourhood Officer
Grade 08 £34,434 - £ 37,280 per Annum
Internal only
Are you passionate about delivering excellent customer service? Forward thinking? Confident? Yes? Then we want you!
Join our Housing Tenancies team at Wrexham Council and you will join a team that takes real pride in what we do and the services we provide, as well as our employees. Our tenants are at the heart of everything that we do and we are looking for people who are willing to go that extra mile with a ‘do it right, ‘do it once’ attitude.
You will be responsible for maximising the sustainability of our tenancies and support the Tenancy and Neighbourhood Team Leader in carrying out all functions of the estate office, including staff management. You will be acting as an ambassador for WCBC, engaging with tenants and residents, and work in partnership with statutory and voluntary organisations. Part of your role will be providing a high quality, flexible service for our tenants, designing a service that works for them. Working together with the estate office team you will make a real, quality difference to peoples’ lives, building and sustaining resilience amongst our tenants and residents and safeguarding our communities.
You’ll receive full training and continued support, with plenty of opportunities for progression within Wrexham Council. We also have lots of employee benefits for you to take advantage of, including our flexible working scheme to support a healthy work life balance, and discounted rates on a number of popular brands and attractions.
The Council welcomes applications from suitably qualified candidates regardless of race, gender, disability, sexuality, religious belief or age.
The Council is committed to developing its bilingual workforce and welcomes applications from candidates who demonstrate their capability to work in both English and Welsh. Applications submitted in Welsh will not be treated less favourably than an application submitted in English.
