The Housing Department are now working towards delivering the Welsh Housing Quality Standard 2023 and are looking to appoint ambitious, innovative, forward thinking, driven and talented individuals to join the External Works Team. 

The post is focused on delivering on a wide range of Capital Improvement Programmes from inception to completion and will include the refurbishment, upgrading and improvement of the Council’s residential housing stock. The work will include surveying & scoping the works, detailed design, development, procurement, contract administration / project management and supervision of key projects to ensure that the Council’s Housing portfolio meets all the requirements of its contract holders and are completed to a high standard.
