LEVEL 1 TEACHING ASSISTANT

13.75 hours per week – G03 12.85 per hour

TERM TIME ONLY WITH NO TERM TIME LEAVE

TEMPORARY POSITION UNTIL 31^st MARCH 2026

The Governing Body seeks to appoint an enthusiastic and proactive Level 1 Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated Early Years team.

This role will be based in our Nursery class, supporting the teaching, and learning of our youngest pupils. The successful candidate will work under the direction of teaching/senior staff to help deliver high-quality early years provision and ensure pupils are supported to access all areas of learning.

The position is for 13.75 hours per week, working 08:45-11:30 each morning, Monday to Friday during term time.

Experience of working with younger pupils, particularly those with additional needs, is desirable. Candidates should be able to work independently and as part of a team. Effective communication skills and a caring, nurturing approach are essential, along with an understanding of pupils with varying needs.
