Community Food Development Officer
G08 - £34,434 - £37,280
37 per week
Temporary (31/09/2027
Location – Based at Lampbit Street / home working
This is an exciting new role, funded until September 2027.
If you are an experienced Development Officer, with knowledge of community development, partnership working, coordination and development, with a passion for a thriving, connected, supportive and more resilient local food system, this could be the job for you!
Essential requirements for the post include experience of working with local communities, managing, delivering and monitoring and evaluation of small grant programmes.
The role will also include partnership coordination including the management of partnership meetings, project planning, development and delivery.
You will be expected to identify opportunities for funding and support bids and projects to further develop the Wrexham Food Partnership.
You will require excellent communication and organisational skills and have a strong commitment to sustainable and accessible good food for all.
Individuals with expertise and relevant lived experience of the city’s diversity, cultures, social and economic challenges, will view this role as an opportunity to change things for the better.
