Family Support Worker - Flying Start 30 hour posts

Fixed Term until 31/03/2028, 2 x 30 hour a week positions

Flying Start is a Welsh Government initiative which offers a real opportunity to make a difference to children under 4yrs and their families living within certain areas of Wrexham, who are most in need of support. 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for two experienced Family Support Workers to join a friendly and innovative multi-disciplinary team of health, social care and education professionals to deliver an intensive home visiting service to children and families in Wrexham. 

You will have a relevant NVQ/QCF/CACHE Level 3 qualification relating to Children/Health/Social Care or other equivalent qualifications. 

This is a fixed term contract until 31/03/2028, with potential for extension subject to grant funding. 

You will undertake child developmental reviews, provide intensive support to children under 4 yrs and their families in the home and deliver on parent group programmes.
