Building Control Manager

G13 £54,495 - £57,868

Full time permanent - Internal Only

We are looking for an enthusiastic qualified, experienced Class 3 Registered Building Inspector with specialist knowledge of all Building Control associated legislation including relevant fire safety knowledge to join our well established respected professional team. You will be a self-motivated individual who can demonstrate excellent interpersonal & communication skills working to tight deadlines with good negotiation skills.

You will need to be registered Class 3 with the Building Safety Regulator in order to undertake the full range of specialist duties and management of a successful building control, fire safety & structural consultancy service.   
You are required to liaise with Council members, members of the public, architects, agents & developers during the design & construction processes and have a high level of professional competence and ability in a wide range of building control areas.

You will be working in a flexible manner both office and agile home working essential so you will need to possess good organisational & administrative skills and computer literacy is essential.
