Senior Building Surveyor

G09 £38,220 - £40,777

 

The Housing Department are looking to appoint an experienced, innovative, forward thinking, driven and talented individual to join the External/Environmental Works Team.

As a Senior Building Surveyor, you will be responsible for a varied portfolio of Capital Improvement Programmes from inception to completion and will include the refurbishment, upgrading and improvement of the Council’s residential housing stock. Your expertise will be crucial in delivering an exceptional service.

 

Key responsibilities;

Contract administration/project management

Provide a full range of professional services, including defect analysis, party wall matters, dilapidations

Oversee project teams and budgets, ensuring high-quality, timely, and profitable delivery

Ensure full compliance with relevant legislation, including CDM 2015, Building Regulations, and the Party Wall Act

Ensure all projects adhere to quality, health, safety, and environmental standards
